Apartment Therapy Part 1: Livingroom

Over all I love our apartment. It has a very open layout, (Huge!) kitchen, private balcony, and pretty good shape for its age. The few issues are lighting- we have a south facing apartment and get very little light, and dated appliances. I have a hard time committing to a style but I just want it to feel homey and fresh.

I love the floral chair from my grandma (it's twin is in our room)

The Catalina painting is from my mom for our wedding since that is where hubs proposed. ( it kinda looks like us too!)

The footprints picture is from our honeymoon in Costa Rica

The purple lightening picture was taken by our friend during an incredible lightening storm in Tx.

This isn't my favorite coffee table set up, but I didnt have much inspiration for January.

I love this old sewing machine table we got at a garage sale. I would love to paint it and change the hardware, but I still haven't decided what color I want. Maybe an olive green? What do you think?
